How do you make a statement through branding and signage for an organisation with an established culture and capture it to launch a new multi-million pound redeveloped building?
After a period of fundraising and building work, Boom secured the tender to get the Lyric Hammersmith back on the map through the use of branding as well as creating a new look and feel for the internal parts of the building… from lifts to loos, to the café and a brand new brochure. With ‘Theatre’s coming home’ at the heart of everything, Boom used the new building’s blank canvas to create designs that captured the creative brief and ensured practical issues such as legibility and Access requirements were made a priority. Language, shape and colour were used side by side with an existing brushstroke font to deliver appealing, cheeky and informative designs.
